Simbu clears the air on Thala 55 rumors

Rumors were running wild for the past few days that Simbu is doing a cameo role for a song in Ajith and Gautham Menon’s untitled flick. That Simbu is an ardent fan of Thala is a long-known fact and he has confessed the same in many of his films time and again. So, when these rumors popped up, some sections in the media believed it since Gautham Menon and STR share a good rapport too.

Now, Simbu clears the air citing the reports as rumors. “I respect Ajith sir and would love to work with him, provided the script has scope. However, I’m not doing his film with Gautham Menon,” clarifies Simbu. The shooting for Thala 55 is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. Film and television actress Devi Ajith and Baby Anikha are the latest additions to the happening Thala 55.
