Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ release postponed; likely to hit screens in April

Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which was originally slated to hit screens on January 25th, 2018, has been postponed due to a delay in the post-production work. Sources say the makers are looking at the Tamil New Year festival in April as a possible alternative for release.

Meanwhile, the teaser launch which was scheduled this month in Hyderabad and the trailer event which was planned to be held in Chennai in December have also been pushed to a later date. Lyca Productions is currently mulling over all the possibilities and will soon make an official announcement on the roadmap of the film.
