Archaic first outing for Varshan!
Though PEP tries hard to be a commercially satisfying album, the songs lack spice. With a few sparks of life here and there, it is a conventional debut for Varshan.

- Kalaasi Kalaasi: Singers – MLR Karthikeyan, MalathyLakshman, TirukumarThiagarajah, Diwakar –An old fashioned gaana track which day-to-day instrumentations and lyrics. The vocals do manage to infuse some life into this outdated start to the album
- Ore Oru Murai: Singers – Vijay Prakash, SunithaSarathy, Ranjana – Varshan brings in a Latin touch to this number which is highlighted by the soothing rendition from SunithaSarathy. The interludes have a touch of nativity, thanks to the table and the flute. Our PICK!
- Marina Beachula: Singers – Diwakar, Mukesh – A typecast light kuthu track which is pedestrian from start to finish. No great shakes in this one
- DhaegamThaakum: Singers – Krishna Kumar, Ramya NSK –An ostensible dance bit which has nice little instrumentations until the vocals swoop in. Short, but harmless
- Aaja O Re: Singers – AbhayJodhpurkar, Amirthavarshini, Haritha – Another short Hindi track which is spearheaded by Abhay’s effortless vocals
