Popular music label makes a comeback; bags Bobby Simha’s next

Lahari Music, one of the most popular music labels in south India, is back into action now. It is known for its extensive range of acquisitions across languages down south during the 80s and 90s. They have bagged the audio rights of Bobby Simha’s upcoming film Masala Padam which has music by newcomer Karthik Acharya.

“I was personally satisfied with the whole product and should thank everyone who has helped me get such a wonderful movie to make a comeback into the Tamil music industry after a long gap. Lahari Music has come back into acquiring music rights in Telugu and Kannada and has given super hits like Race Gurram, Power, Legend etc last year. We are really happy to have ‘Masala Padam’ as our relaunch into the Tamil Industry” says Chandru Manoharan, Director , Lahari music.
