Mersal becomes first-ever south Indian film to get Twitter Emoji
Vijay’s Mersal has become the first ever South Indian movie to get a character emoji on Twitter. The emoji will be curated by Twitter right away from Aug 18th 2PM. It will be appearing next to the movie related hashtags including the song names on the micro-blogging platform. A picture of Vijay from the movie will appear next to the hashtags as an emoji.
With just a day ahead of the audio launch of the film, the emoji has come as a sweet surprise to fans who have already started celebrating it on Twitter.
