Mani Ratnam’s next film titled ‘Okay Kanmani’?

Speculations are rife in the tinsel town that Mani Ratnam’s ongoing film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles is titled Okay Kanmani. However, there’s no official confirmation from the team yet. The team is currently busy shooting the first schedule of this urban romantic tale in the busiest streets of Chennai. The team was spotted at Parrys Corner last week, says a trusted source. Okay Kanmani is a catchphrase from Kamal Haasan’s superhit Pottu Vaitha Kadhal Dhittam Okay Kanmani song in Singara Velan. 

The film also has Prakash Raj joining hands with Mani Ratnam for the fourth time after Bombay, Iruvar and Kannathil Muthamittal. Mani Ratnam has also roped in Kanika of Varalaaru and Five Star fame for a cameo role. It has cinematography by PC Sreeram and music by AR Rahman. The film is a Tamil-Malayalam bi-lingual and will be wrapped up by December.
