Madonna Sebastian replaces Shamlee in Kodi

Madonna Sebastian of Premam fame, who is awaiting the release of her debut Tamil film Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum with Vijay Sethupathi, has bagged her next big offer to star opposite Dhanush in his ongoing film Kodi. She has replaced Shamlee, Ajith’s sister-in-law, who was earlier signed on as one of the female leads alongside Trisha.

Though the exact reason for replacement is not known yet, sources say it’s a result of an amicable settlement between Shamlee and the makers without any fuss. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, the film is nearing its final stages of completion. It has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
