Laudable debut from Javed Riaz!

Maanagaram packs a praiseworthy set of tunes, coming from a debutant. The melodies are the tracks with instant mileage, and the rest of the soundtrack is dope for the background score. Javed Riaz makes heads turn with his first album.

With this first song, Suraj Jagan finds a route to lend his powerful voice to an electrocuted tune. If the music is used for some action in the film, it’s going to work big.

Yendi Unna Pudikudhu: Singer – Karthik

Interesting composition which takes a lovely turn after the first minute. Karthik gives his best, and is the lynchpin of the song. Our PICK!

Vaazhve Oru Poro: Singer – Sharanya Ghopinath, Suraj Jagan, Lawrence

Rocking instrumental start-up which slightly dips once the vocals breeze in. Will be effectively used in the BGM, great stuff.

Thollai Seyyum Kadhal: Singer – Aarthi N Ashwin

Mesmerizing composition with an extremely catchy flute interlude. It’s real nice as to how the song switches between the music and the lightly flavoured vocals. Our PICK!

It’s A Story: Singer – Sharanya Ghopinath

English songs in Tamil films have rarely gained brownie points, and this one is unlikely to get some either. Maybe it just needed better vocals.
