Lakshmi Ramakrishnan’s next titled Ammini

Filmmaker Lakshmmi Ramakrishnan’s next is titled Ammini. Her last film Nerungi Vaa Muthamidaathe garnered favorable reviews from critics and she is already looking forward to work on her next. Ammini is said to be based on a real-life story. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan assures that it won’t be women-centric or preachy.

“The basic premise of the story struck me when a woman visited me on my show. Solvathellam Unmai and spoke about her woes. After listening to her story, I was very inspired and thought it would make a good plot for a film,” says Lakshmi.
