Lakshmi Menon lends her voice for Thaman in Saahasam

Lakshmi Menon, who debuted as a singer with the peppy number Kukkuru Kukkuru in Oru Oorla Rendu Raja composed by Imman, has recorded her second song for music director Thaman now in Saahasam. Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics for the song. Thaman has composed five songs for the film featuring India’s best singers including Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Goshal and Mohit Chauhan among others. It is worth remembering that Prashant gifted a brand-new Toyota Fortuner for Thaman on his birthday few days back for his impressive work in the film.

Directed by debutant Arun Raj Varma, Saahasam is said to be the remake of Telugu blockbuster Julayil. Thiagarajan, who produces the movie, has also penned screenplay and dialogues. Bollywood hottie Nargis Fakhri grooved alongside Prashanth for an item number.
