Kamal Haasan to announce new political party on Gandhi Jayanthi?
The grapevine in Kollywood is abuzz with rumors that Kamal Haasan is all set to float a new political party towards the end of this month and make an official announcement on October 2nd to coincide with the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. Sources say Haasan has started meeting important members from his fan clubs and initiated discussions.
“Kamal Haasan is eyeing the local body elections in Tamil Nadu, which is scheduled to happen in November. He has been influential persons across all walks of life to discuss his party’s agenda and draft papers,” informs a source.
Kamal Haasan also clarified that he will not be participating the CPI (M)’s conference in Calicut.
