Kamal Haasan appreciates Visaaranai

Raju Mahalingam, Creative Head of Lyca Productions, arranged a special screening of national award-winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai yesterday to Kamal Haasan, who is said to have been impressed with the outcome. “Thanks to Balu Mahendra for imprinting the impact of good cinema in Vetrimaaran’s mind. I was in awe after watching a film called Visaaranai yesterday,” says a rough translation of Kamal Haasan’s tweet praising the film.

Jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grassroot Film Company, Visaaranai, which got its Indian premiere in the Mumbai International Film Festival last year, is all set to hit screens on February 5th. It is released by Lyca Productions worldwide.
