Jiiva turns singer for Vijay’s dad

The latest buzz in the tinsel town is the suave and charismatic Jiiva has turned singer in SA Chandrasekhar’s next film Touring Talkies, which has music by Ilaiyaraja. Jiiva has sung a two-promo song, according to reliable sources. Jiiva and Vijay share a good friendship, they acted together in Shankar’s Nanban and Vijay’s did a film for Jiiva’s dad under Super Good Films. SAC, who has helmed a handful of hit films in the last three decades in his career, is debuting as a lead hero in Touring Talkies.

Jiiva’s last seen Yaan bombed at the box office and he is yet to officially announce his next project. Meanwhile, he will kickstart New Year by captaining the Chennai Rhinos team in the Celebrity Cricket League tournament.
