“I’ve cried to God to become an actor,” says Vikram

Vikram, in his recent interview to a popular TV channel, has opened up about the life-changing accident that occurred to him at the beginning of his career. When renowned critic Rajeev Masand quizzed Vikram about the tumultous phase after the accident where he underwent more than 20 surgeries, Vikram told, “I’ve cried to god to become an actor. All my prayers were shattered with that accident. I, at least, wanted to be a still photographer, a part of cinema. Somehow I got Sethu and finally felt it is something that has come to me. The rest is history,” told Vikram.

Vikram’s directed by Shankar is currently under post-production phase and the team is looking forward to release the film in November aiming for a solo release. Starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles, it also has Ram Kumar, Suresh Gopi in important roles and Upen Patel as the antagonist. Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, the film has music by AR Rahman.
