Hansika Motwani in talks for Sangamithra

The grapevine in K’town is abuzz with reports that Hansika Motwani has been approached to play the titular role in Sangamithra. It must be noted that director Sundar C shares a great rapport with Hansika, who is part of his Aranmanai franchise.

However, there is no concrete information on Hansika signing the project yet. Earlier, names like Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty were doing the rounds after Shruti Haasan opted out of the film, which is being produced by Murali Ramasamy’s Sri Thenandal Films.
