Bala’s Varma to go on floors from January end

Director Bala’s Varma, the official Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy, will go on floors from the end of January. Produced by Mukesh Mehta’s E4E Entertainment, Varma stars Dhruv, the son of actor Vikram, in the lead role.

The makers are on the brink of finalizing the lead heroine for the film, which will have cinematography by Sukumar. The music director and the supporting cast of the film will also be officially announced by the team early January.

Arjun Reddy was a blockbuster hit in Telugu film industry. It starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles and was directed by Sandeep Vanga.
