2.o: Shankar’s stringent rules for Rajinikanth-Akshay face-off

Shankar is one of the very few filmmakers in Tamil who employ scrupulous efforts to guard secrets about their movies. For the next leg of shooting for Rajinikanth’s 2.0, Shankar has reportedly put in place stringent rules for his crew for the next schedule.

“This schedule will kickstart in March and Akshay Kumar will come down to Chennai. There is a pivotal fight sequence planned between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in this schedule. It involves a lot of visual effects work to enhance the outcome. Shankar is planning to shoot this particular duel with his stuntmen first, render the output from the VFX team and then improvise the real scene, which will be filmed on Akshay and Rajinikanth later,” informs a source in the film’s unit.

Shankar has reportedly instructed his still cameramen team to keep their hands off the camera for this schedule. He has also told his crew and assistant directors to refrain from using mobile phones on sets until the completion of this schedule.
